Born 20th March 1920 died peacefully on 8th November, Remembrance Sunday, aged 100+ after saying her goodbyes to her family and friends.  A remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and collector of friends.  She held her three children in her arms when they first came into this world and they held her in theirs when she left.  “Alexa! Stop all the clocks, turn off the telephone” she was our North, our South, our East and West. A beacon of light and goodness to all who were touched by her, who lived at home to the end.
